I just think the Seahawks more than any other team in the NFL, feed off the negativity of being doubted, of being told they can't do this.
The Seahawks in the majority, are made of up an army misfit players who were told they weren't going to succeed in the NFL, they weren't going to make it, they didn't have what it takes. No more than its coach, Pete Carroll. They are underdogs with chips are their shoulder so big, they've turned into bulldogs.
So the more the national media hates, the more other fans hate, the Seahawks are using that as fuel.
Tell Sherman he's not the best Corner in the league and that he's just a classless thug.
Tell Kam Chanchellor he's too slow or Thomas he's too small.
Tell Bruce Irvin, he's too dumb to be anything other than a one trick pony.
Tell Russell Wilson he's too short.
Call Golden Tate a punk.
Tell Baldwin he's pedestrian.
Tell the Offensive Line that they are the worst in the NFL.
Tell the Defensive Line they are a bunch of no-name nobodies with no elite talent that can take over a game.
Tell the Seahawks, they will lose, do it. The Seahawks want it all, they want to be doubted and they want to be hated.
Because it makes it only that much sweeter in the end: It isn't going to be about the "I told you so" it will be about a group of men being told they would never amount to anything in this League, and then becoming CHAMPIONS.
