NFL players got their wish...Wilson in the Super Bowl

....well sort of got their wish.

ESPN published the results of a survey where they asked a question about a player they would like to see in the super bowl that has not yet had the opportunity.

Adrian Peterson and Tony Gonzalez topped the list.

I was very surprised to see Russell Wilson 4th on the list.

He's well respected so it's not completely shocking for him to be there.

Tony G could have been playing if he had signed with us this offseason or forced a trade!

It's surprising as you would mainly think of the veteran players that have been around for a while and you really want to see play in the super bowl before they drop off their peak or retire.

Usually yes but it's obvious Wilson talks the talk and walks the walk. I think his Pro Bowl appearence obviously left a good impression among his peers.

That just wouldn't have been fair for the rest of the NFL.
