Don't see why he would leave for another job unless it was an upgrade to HC(since he's already ast. HC, o-line coach, and controls the run plays). So I guess he'll stay. Don't really want him gone, but I wouldn't be that sad either if he left, but continuity is good, so... :229031_shrug:
This is why a lot of teams have two or more "assistant head coaches." To steal them away, you have to practically give them the head job.
I would hate to see Cable go. He is about the 3rd or 4th "ZBS guru" OL coach we've had in here trying to get the running game going. He's getting it done. I hope he stays.
