'cept for that holding penalty...

That was a stupid penalty. Really just plain stupid. He didn't need to do that. SMH. What was he thinking?

He was thinking we'd score too soon from the 50 better to have a 17 play drive and eat up a bunch of time cuz a FG will win it. Lynch should go down in bounds though, not like when he was going backwards out of bounds which runs the clock.

Sherm was fired up today. Looked like the old Sherm. Him now moving around to cover the top receiver seems to have reinvigorated his competitive juices. I like it.

Btw, who is that girl in your avatar? Goddamn. :p

Wish I knew. :3:

I agree that moving Sherm around has had a great impact.
Hopefully Bevell can find that much imagination to help start moving the offense.

If they are referring to the completion I think they are, I don't think Sherm was actually the on coverage there. He read it well and made the play, but I think he started out covering a different receiver.

Always worried moving him around could break a good thing. Guess that's not true. You could use his game film as a teaching tool to young and old CBs

He balled like crazy. He was like fly paper on that screen tackle. Not a big boomer but he doesn't get enough credit for how sure a tackler he is.

This was one of the first games this year, that he looked like his old self.
He wasn't playing catch up, he was finally seeing and tracking the ball.
It was great to see him playing inspired!!
