Running Game Prediction

With the new addition of Fred Jackson and Thomas Rawls, I think this group will be our most potent rushing attack under Pete Carroll. How many yards do you think our rushing numbers will be per our RBs and Wilson.

Russell Wilson: 480 yards
Marshawn Lynch: 1350 yards
Fred Jackson: 570 yards
Thomas Rawls: 370 yards
Jimmy Graham: 2 Jet sweeps -5 yards :sarcasm_on:

This is the year Wilson breaks 1000 yds rushing. I think that will be a first for a QB won't it? Lynch will probably have less carries because of Jackson. Turbin was good for 70-80 carries a year. Jackson has been getting about twice that. They want Jackson in there blocking while Graham goes out so I think we'll see a lot of him. That means sometimes they'll have to give him the ball to keep from projecting what play we're calling. I think Jackson probably gets 700 yds, Lynch gets 11-1200. Rawls maybe gets a couple hundred. That's over 3000 yds, which beats last years NFL leading ground game.

I hope not. The threat of running is enough. I want him taking the next step and beating teams regularly with his arm.

No. This quote from NFL.com:

"Michael Vick set the NFL single-season quarterback rushing record with 1,039 yards in 2006, while he was with the Atlanta Falcons".

We don't want Russ nor Lockett running from scrimmage as a matter of course. Run a lot first 3 quarters pass the fourth. Soften. Tire. Breakdown. Exploit.

Yep. Pretty much. I know there seems to be a lot of Rawls love based largely on comments made coming out of mini-camp. Let's just keep those in perspective. Wouldn't surprise me if Rawls gets moved to the Practice Squad if Turbin heals up and isn't claimed by another team.

Lynch 988 Yds.

Poor O-line, Age, and Injuries start to show. Father time keeps him under 1000.

Wilson gets 612 yds rushing this season however to help accommodate for Lynch's drop off. Kid can wiggle out of a sack like I've never seen before.

Fred Jackson tacks on another 389 yds.

My number is high for Rawls and I will admit that, I'm just thinking that we are going to blow out a few teams this year and Rawls will get a chance to get some yardage.
