Can't PUP a guy who has already practiced. IR or IR designated to return (if you don't want to save it for a better player).

That doesn't look much worse than what we see in the "look at my new Seahawks shoes" threads that pop up now and then.

I'm gettin me some Air Turbins!

This.

The other option is releasing him with an injury settlement, which to me seems the most likely.. since Jackson basically is a better version of Turbo

Injury settlement? Man, Turbs was a good Seahawk...wish it wasn't so.

They could always re-sign him after Week 9 or even next year to a veteran minimum deal after Fred Jackson's contract is up.

Doubt he comes back if he's cut though...opportunities elsewhere.

3rd down back, who can't break tackles, coming off a significant high ankle sprain.

I like him in that role when he's healthy, but I'm not sure he would be more valuable to anyone else.

Turb is not getting any younger. At 25, he should be at his peak production. This HAS will keep him out of the line up for 6-8 weeks. His future as a Seahawk is questionable.

This is good news for the strength and development of this RB corps. Wish him well, and maybe we can re-sign him after Week 9 or next year.
