Where did "Bow Down" originate from?

I hear it a lot and I don't get it. If you were the Kings, or more appropriately for your team the last decade the Queens, I would understand. But people don't generally bow down to Huskies. Not trying to be a smartass, legitimately curious about the origin.

Wiki says the fight song "Bow Down to Washington" in 1915 but you probably knew that

Well, I was taking a gentle good natured jab while asking a question that I really am curious about.

Yep, from the fight song. Same thing as asking where "mighty" comes from in "Mighty Oregon", essentially.

This is the song I think of every time I hear Husky fans say "Bow Down". Are there are an Husky fans that are good at cutting game tape that can dub in music to the Husky highlights. I would like to see the current Husky team's highlights with clips of the new stadium with this song dubbed in.
