WTH does pointing at the wrist thing mean?

I think it the WR corps way of telling the fans "It's about time"....as in it's about time we scored a TD.

Interestingly, I don't know if it has been mentioned before...but in the games after Lockette was injured, did you notice some of the players do the Lockette TD endzone celebration?....the one where he mimes placing his invisible briefcase on the floor and adjusts his tie.

I think Lockett did it on the first TD after the Lockette injury game and then at least one other player.

I really appreciated the WRs camaraderie and tip of the hat to their injured colleague.

I think it's mostly done in the 4th quarter, to indicate that it's time to take control of a game? Or it might be it's the final stretch before the playoffs - so it's time to work?
