Our defense averages 14.4 points per game, all we need to do is score 20 which we do with regularity (26.1 ppg)
In comparison, san francisco allows 17 ppg and scores 25.4 ppg
carolina allows 15.1 ppg and scores 22.9 ppg
This is Pete's game plan, great defense, great running game to keep the opposing offense off of the field, and play mistake free offensive football. Pete has a plan and it's a good one.
- Russell didn't have that great of a game, but he was following his coach's instructions to "protect the ball" which means don't take chances.
- Our wide receivers are okay but we need some improvement there.
- The weather yesterday was very bad with wind gusts up to 30 MPH with a wet ball which means accuracy is going to be tough to come by.
- The footing was a bit sloppy, possibly making it hard to make sharp cuts.
- If not for a few odd moments, it could have been a much bigger score for our Seahawks.
- I think the Breno hold was ticky tack and only called because of the recent letter sent out to call the game closer
- That "almost intercepted" pass that went right to the Saints wide receiver...
- The head shot on Percy
- The hard hit by 3 people colliding with Golden on his first catch limiting our best receiver.
- An onside kick with the ball bouncing off of Tate? How often does that happen?
- AND with our red zone passing struggles, just keep running the ball in there damnit! If you're going to fail at getting a TD in the RZ, at least beat the crap out of the other team and go with Beast Mode!
