And Seattle isn't one of them. Come to the dark side and cheer for the 49ers and/or Rams. Real teams competing for a championship.

Almost made a comeback to win Super Bowl against Ravens.

Almost went to Super Bowl if it wasn’t for Richard Sherman.

Almost won Super Bowl with a lead on the Chiefs in 4th quarter.

San Francisco Almost.

It is nice seeing two NFCW teams in the title game, showing just how good this division is.

Yep, just shows it's the best division by far. Hell, we were 3-3 in division games this year too. Put this year's sorry Hawks team in the NFC East and we're in the playoffs.

There will still be a huge contingent of 49ers fans inside the stadium on game day. Tickets are expensive and I have no problem with fans making financial decisions. The 49ers have a bigger fan base than the Rams and they're more prepared to pony up. The Rams will need to be prepared for noise when they have the ball.

Ya because 9er fans so loud Rams had to go to silent count. Scalpers, ticketmaster, fans have no control over.

1) How are the Rams supposed to enforce this against Stubhub, VividSeats, etc.?
2) What do they consider "greater LA?" Up to Fresno as their TV viewing maps might indicate? Fresno is as due south as Salinas is. Salinas is about an hour from San Jose. Or do they use the Bakersfield cutoff as the Nortenos and Surenos have traditionally done?

This^ It will be Rams using silent count again.

...but does the success of all 3 other teams in the NFCW make the Seahawks approach change over the next few years? Waiting for QBs to churn, FAs to leave and coaches to turnover has benefitted the Seahawks for the past 10 years. Should we expect some consistent playoff level competition within the division for a while from 1, 2 or 3 other teams? ...and how do you overcome that? Tough questions that I don't really think has a definite answer....

But we did sweep one of them.

3rd place finisher in the NFC West beat the Eagles in regular season and eliminated the Cowboys in Dallas in the playoffs.

Those Seahawks beat that 3rd place finisher. Twice.

NFCW has eliminated the #1, #2, and #3 seeds, all on the road.

The only reason they weren't higher seeded in the playoffs is they have to play each other twice a year. Despite that, THREE teams finished with 10+ wins. FOUR of the 49ers 7 losses came to NFCW teams.

NFCW is at least the best division in the NFC.

Yeah replace the 9er's, rams and cards games with any 3 of the NFCE teams and I think the hawks go 10-7 on that alone. Dallas might have still won division but the hawks would have made the playoffs.

20 years of dominance has a bit of a karma adjustment.

Only Patriots' fans can comprehend what that looks like.

Yeah we know what that feels like in this Century, since 2002 we have spent the majority of the time beating the 49ers Cardinals and fighting the Rams for top spot most years.

And are still only 1-2 in super bowls. Must suck to have less rings than the Bucs and Ravens. Hey, what times does Seattle play this weekend?

Well you can knock the dust off your 10 year old SB trophy while you watch Rams and 9ers compete to see who goes to the SB on Sunday.
