As a logical person, I try not to believe too much in superstitions. That being said, I still find myself during a game wondering what I am doing that is affecting the Seahawks gameplay. Yesterday, I had my hat off for the first half. I decided to do my part and put my hat on for the second half, even though it was hot at my buddies house. We not only started playing better, we won. I know it's silly, but I couldn't help feeling like I contributed.

I'm curious, did anybody else change what they were doing yesterday in order to give the Seahawks a boost?

I said this in a different thread, but I have several blue Seahawks shirts that I wear for home games under my Wolf Gray '12' Jersey (Away games I have white Seahawks shirt). I was wearing the same as I had for the Saints game but after the Niners scored their 1st TD I switched to a different blue Seahawks shirt. I know in my head that it had absolutely nothing to do with the win, but it's only strange if it doesn't work, right?

I took off my sweatshirt at halftime and put on my 12 jersey. I then wore my hat backwards for the last half. winner!

hahaha.... i was at an all time weird yesterday. I was continuously adding more jerseys even though it was hot and it ended up with me swinging a cat toy in circles tapping the ceiling with it on every spin for the last 10 minutes of the 4th quarter... whatever works right?!? lol

Yes, try not to be superstitious, as it becomes too stressful. We did little things, changed seats, hats, and few other embarrassing things.
Too funny, my 10-yr old had a party and one of his friends had to stay home because the Seahawks win when he stays home. He came over at halftime and rushed home to make sure the Hawks would win.

I put on the budlight iceskating commercial song. We came back. My brother made me turn it off. Kap throws a lazer rocket TD. He made me turn it back on. We win, it's only weird if it doesn't work.

I feel kind of bad for this but my mom has a real knack for popping in and sitting down to watch the game just before the other team scores and my teams (Seahawks, Dodgers, or Atlas for Mexico soccer) lose. At this point it's happened so much that it's a scientific fact, kinda like predicting when a comet will pass close enough to the earth to be visible. My mom spent the whole game elsewhere and popped in briefly just before the Boldin TD... I had to ask her to leave, she did, and what a trooper she was for doing so! Thanks mom!!!

Also, my aunt, who was rooting for the Whiners (just because they're a CA team) got up to do a load of laundry at half time and my friend made a silly comment that the load of laundry could change the Seahawks luck, then the Lynch run happened. When she got up to put another load the Kearse TD happened! Crazy!!

At halftime I realized I didn't have me phone and the tv remote lined up facing the tv like they should be. A little OCD? I guess so when it come to game day.

Left my folks house at halftime, went to a local card room/casino to watch the game, it worked!

Took my new gen sweatshirt and t-shirt off and exchanged them with an old school shirt and newer hat. It worked beautifully.

I had walked the girls about 3 miles during the Pats/Broncos game and taken off my cool seahawk shoes, but during halftime something told me to strap them back on ITS GO TIME.....its gotta be the shoes!

I changed from my normal lucky spot on the sofa to a new spot on the other side on the sofa. Clearly, this is the reason for the victory.

Our friends made their youngest son take off his #3 jersey and turn it inside out. No, not Russell Wilson, but Josh "Slave to the Businessman" Brown. Worked like a charm.

I took a Lorazepam at the Half.

You're welcome.

Was wearing my replica Tatupu jersey that had been worn 2 other times. SB XL and the week 16 cards game. Burned it on the firepit at halftime. I knew it had to be some leftover bad Ruskell juju and it had to go (still like Tatupu though). Think I will avoid player jerseys for a while...

I switched out the long sleeve Seahawks shirt under my Wilson jersey for a short sleeve Seahawks shirt at the half.

You do realize every 49er fan is also superstitious and were doing the same things yesterday? I'm glad our superstitions were stronger than theirs and it worked out great.

Went out back and smoked a bowl.

No thanks needed...I did what needed to be done.
