Man, change 2 plays and this is a completely different game.

If Mariota doesn't under throw Huff on the 1st possession and if they don't call a pretty lame pass interference on that interception.

Playing Stanford they slow down the game so much that every play is so magnified. I'm not liking the Ducks chances very much in the 2nd half. If they would have gotten an early lead I honestly think they could blow Stanford out, but with Stanford able to play this style... we have very little chance.
First drive of the 2nd half for each team will determine how this game goes. If Stanford puts together another 10+ play 5-7 minute TD drive to go up 24-0, Oregon will have to play near perfect the rest of the way.

And to make it even worse have to watch that horse faced jackass Elway honored at halftime! That's like a kick in the balls for a Seahawks/Ducks fan.

If you're Stanford, why would you run a single pass play on your first possession? Oregon hasn't been able to stop the run and the clock is your friend.

yeah, just keep running it if they can't stop it.

Looking at the box score it's weird to see Gaffney only averaging 3.5 ypc. Feels like he's killing it.

Stanford's run game is more drive sustaining runs. They're not really thrashing Oregon, just beating them up.

24 carries already for Gaffney in the 1st half. Averaging less then 4 yards per carry... unfortunately 3.5 + 3.5 + 3.5 = 1st down.

Wow, another turnover deep in Stanford territory. Ducks are killing themselves tonight.

Oregon's playing too high up front, they've got to get low. They are standing straight up and getting pushed back.

Came in here to say that I think Mike Carey trained this crew.

Oregon is doing nothing to dispel the notion the rest of the country, especially the SEC, has that they can't handle physical teams.

Mariota essentially has a quarter to rescue his Heisman.
