If we are 28th in Run blocking with the top rushing offense, 7th ranked Rush YPC then our RBs must be super human. Clearly PFF is off their rocker here.
It’s even more glaring when you consider we don’t disguise what we are going to do. We even run in a OT to act as a TE half the time. We are daring defenses to stop our run game. And still #1 yards per game, #7 yards per carry.

Never trust analytics in a sport with such limited data to draw from. It works for baseball but football is a different beast.

Big ben is a joke. He has O-Line, AB, JuJu, a running game, a defense, everything.

Year after year he always disappoints.

The first 2 games skew the sack numbers pretty bad. Also Seattle a lot of times only lets Wilson throw on 2nd and long, and 3rd and long a disproportionate % of his throws. So pressure numbers are going to go up. Cause and effect.

The blocking is there if you watch the games. They need to sprinkle in some quick short throws on 1st down to break up their predictability a little bit, and as an added bonus that pressure number would come down.

Pete needs to really dig into what the Rams are doing and steal some of that. Gurley breaks tackles at the rate of a meh WR, he is getting all of his yards due to scheme.

This Ben Baldwin guy is trying to fit the data to his opinion. Wikson's rushing numbers count and are part of the Seahawks total rushing attack. You just can't take away his contributions and act like they are average because of what he brings. It is that dimension that helps them in so many ways and adds to both the passing and rushing offense. You can't just write off information like that because it will have an affect in how teams have to act/react in every game that cannot be discounted.

It doesn't bother me because I do know Wilson adds to it, and makes them better.

Last year Seattle RBs sucked, but when you add in Wilson's rushing last year it didn't really show how bad the RBs were. You had to take Wilson's rushes out of the equation to showcase how bad the Rbs were. This data clearly shows they have massively improved this year. Eyeball test confirms this as well quite easily though. :irishdrinkers:

Gurley is a fraud.

Gurley is a product of a gimmicky offense with new pre-snap movements. Pete broke the Chip Kelly code and he’ll break the McVay code. I have no doubt.

Seems like the author of that article is trying to convince you that the Vikings will win. And then trick you into betting money with him as he takes the Hawks.
