The CFL season is over in the NFL so now its time for real football with all the real players. I only see mostly positives with this team from last year, rookies gotta year under their belt, the sandwich artist is gone like he was never even here, and some possible key pieces coming in. So what is your prediction for the season and end result?

Season 12-5 div champs
End Result NFC Divisional round

agree with everything except I have a win vs Dallas. 3 losses in a row would be a tough bounce back.

Dallas & Pittsburgh are a toss-up for me. I was just going with my gut. Maybe if the Cowboys game was in Seattle, I'd put it as a W. Seattle typically goes through a little but of a slump each season, it seems like. It wouldn't surprise me to go through 3 L's in a row, it's a tough stretch during that span.

The truth is I have not seen the ones play much, so although they look good on paper, I don't actually know how good this team is.. I like the attitude of this team a lot and I think this team has tons of potential and they have a chance to be really good... but there is no way of knowing at this point how good this team is at this point.

Been a strong believer in 12 solid wins, I think that's fair.

I could see 15 all day though if everything falls into place, or 10 if some bumps in the road occur.

11 wins. Wildcard team.

The defense will perform better. However, our Achilles heel remains the same. Stopping the run.

SB Picks: Chiefs over Niners

All depends on the development of our front 7 and OL in general with Cross in particular.

Sticking with my 11-6 prediction, bounced in the divisional.

Next year bitches, it’s on.

People will be lighting their hair on fire over the defense for the first 3-4 weeks. The defense will struggle early on. When all the new faces finally get their communication down and after the coaches make a couple of tweaks, the defense will click and play very well. For the remainder of the season. But it will already be too late. The narrative will still persistently endure all year long for the folks that have a "I hate the defense" or "I hate Pete" agenda. We will once again be asked to not believe our own eyes. Even when the defense comes around and consistently delivers. It happened last year with Geno. It is currently happening with Lock.

Don't trust what your eyes are showing you because everyone is entitled to their opinion. Or something.

Yikes...

That Niners, @Cowboys, @Niners, Eagles, @Titans is a brutal five game stretch.

With many of our starters being pretty young and a tough schedule I'm going with 10-7 also. Hope I am wrong and we play the whole season the way the M's are playing now. Next year it all comes together, but this year we are close in every game but not quite there yet.
