Tough day but, it had to happen eventually. I get that it's a tough pill to swallow losing Russ and Bobby on the same day but, I look forward to the future.

I think Wilson has plenty left in the tank.

Two major beefs I have are we made this move without a clear QB replacement in-place. Secondly, if the FO knew they were going this route, we should’ve took Chicago’s offer.

L after L after L adds up.

I'm not following. The Bears didn't offer a replacement QB either.

And I don't agree with all the Lock hate. He was a 1st round pick and has some talent. He may not be the future but he's ok

Well, the Bears offer isn't concretely agreed upon as to what it actually was.

The most recent sources have it as a 2021 first (20 overall), 2022 first, and 2022 third plus unnamed players. That's ass compared to Denver's offer, draft capital wise.

I didn’t realize they were so low. Great point.

Not sure its fair to say they don't have a plan for a QB replacement

Might just not be clear to us yet.

Brooks will fill his spot nicely.

Another icon for the team moved and cap savings will allow for free agent activity.

The draft has some truly excellent LBs as well.

Seahawks draft blog nailed this one.

Seems to me the team has some plans, am fully of the belief there will be more changes.

Fair. But, weren’t the draft options at qb were better than now?

Lock was actually a 2nd round pick, and if the Broncos thought he was any good they probably wouldn't be trading 5 picks and 3 players to get a QB (Russ).

This one makes sense. The team is on a youth movement.

Wagner was a great player for us, but it was time to part ways. He just wasn't the same player the last year or two. His tackles stayed high, but he was giving up too many yards to opposing skills players. We needed to gain his cap savings and go on the true youth movement.

But I appreciate his service and do wish him well. :irishdrinkers:
