First off, I'm not bringing this up just because the Seahawks are in the Super Bowl (okay, maybe just a little), but this is something I have been wondering about for a very long time. The NFL allows helmet stickers, uniform patches to commemorate anniversaries or in memorial of a person, or even Breast Cancer Awareness.

Why don't they let the Super Bowl champions of the previous season wear some kind of designation on their uniforms (helmets and/or jerseys) for the following season? I think that would be really cool and an added bonus for being world champions. Nothing tacky or obnoxious...Maybe the SB logo with the word CHAMPIONS or something like that? It just seems odd to me that they only get to wear any SB logo during the game itself, but the champions don't get to have any designation the next season as an extra amenity for winning it all the season before.

Dunno. Just think it would be cool is all.
