RW calling his own plays

So, some of us (many of us?) have been wanting Russell to call his own plays for a while. Apparently, he did that for "a series or two" in yesterday's game when he lost helmet communications in the 3rd quarter.

Cool! I believe he did just fine, and would like to see that continue.

What's interesting is that the staff showed it's trust in him, Scotty had to know that when Wilson ran a play and it was not one he called something was up but rather then alert Pete which I am sure he did and call a time out to get it fixed they let him continue, good sign from both Pete and Schotty.

I have seen where they will continue the game but shut off the defenders helmet also these days to make things equal.

This year it appears that Wilson is calling plays more often then we think .
