Mine is the day I fly down. Staying in Metarie. I see the local transportation is pretty massive there and should not be a problem getting in and out of the area for a 1pm their time game. Just hope it is not a 500 degree game. LOL

Heads up all.

Prices for this game have dropped significantly over the past 3 weeks.

I just made my purchase.

Front Row on visitor side.

Half the price that similar were going for in August.

Just sayin'

Edit: many seats available in the $60-$70 range.

Surprising my wife for her birthday and going to this game. We've always wanted to go to New Orleans and what better excuse to go when the Hawks play! She surprised me two years ago when the Hawks played the Chiefs so I figured it's time for another road trip game!

Just to let everyone know, Halloween is more like Halloweek down there.
There are like 5 days of Halloween parades and it's the second best time of year to be down there.

And as for tailgating,... there is no tailgating at the stadium at all.
But, the entire city is open carry for alcohol so the tailgate is everywhere.

I'm sure 99% of you that are going already know this.

Yes but....
Don't know any details yet as far as that goes.
Looked at parking and it's kind of a mess.
Seen passes any where from $25-$150

I have emails out, Dallas Seahawkers are not planning anything for this game but I think the Austin group may be. If they are, I'll try for the same lot as they will be in.

If we end up on our own, I'll do the best I can.
For those that have never been to a game in NOLA, there is a million small lots, not a 100 big ones.
I'll post more on this as I know more.

And in case anybody missed it up thread.

Voodoo Fest will be going on as well.
For those that are into music festivals, this is one of the top rated festivals in the nation.
Not for me but it could make for a huge weekend hitting up the game and voodoo fest.

Now, I can't go. My wife became a professor. We simply can't go.

Bummed, but life will go on.

I can't imagine you will have any issues wearing a jersey...especially since there will be a lot of fellow Seahawks fans there. My wife and I will definitely be wearing ours (and hers is Jimmy Graham :) ).

New Orleans fans are awesome. I go to at least one road game every season and I have seen the best and worst.

Saints fans were very cool. You will get some flak, but you have to have thick skin to go to road games.

Just remind them about a 7-9 team beating them in the playoffs, getting their heads caved in on MNF in 2013 and then again in the Divisional round that season.

I found that it's more about how you act, than what you wear.

I've been to many Stadiums and always see potential for trouble but I've never had any.

Be quick to use your brain, slow to use your mouth.
You should have a blast in NOLA.

As previously mentioned. Fly into Houston and rent a car, drive less than 3 hours and you are there. Fly Southwest, super cheap and luggage is free (2 bags).

I live in between Houston and NOLA. I'm 2 1/2 from Houston and 4 from
NOLA. The drive from Houston to NOLA is roughly 6 hours.

Anyways, I already have my tickets and hotel next door to the Superdome booked.
