I noticed something interesting the other day, in that Wilson seems to be getting better at hitting practically every receiver on the roster. In the past 4 games he has hit 9 different receivers twice and 6 in the previous 2. To contrast this I looked at the Niners over that same period. I was surprised that Kaep has only hit 3 different receivers in all 4 of those games. Now I understand that different teams have different defensive schemes so you cant 100% say that Wilson is just better at spreading the ball around than Kaep, but it is interesting, in that it gives opponents a lot less to worry/study for when scheming for him! Now teams have to be ready for every guy on the receiving corps to prepare for us. Adding Harvin is just cake. That has to be exhausting. :stirthepot:

Why can't you say 100% that Wilson is better at spreading the ball than Kaepernick? He is 100% better. You mention it in your post. Wilson has thrown to 9 different receivers and Colin has only thrown to 3. It's proof that Wilson spreads the ball better. I'd go as far as to say that he spreads the ball to more receivers than Brady, Brees, and Manning do. I think that's what helps the receiver corps. He distributes the ball well so it keeps them engaged in the game.

I was just acknowledging that facing different defenses directly affects this without being too homerish. Frankly I was just marveling at Wilsons ability to spread it around as much as he has lately.

After one of the TD throws to Lynch (think it was the Minnesota game) RW specifically said - I went through my four reads and nobody was open.

Yep he gets through his read

Did read (no pun intented) that Kaep is getting better but your numbers sure doesn't reflect that

Wilson is better than Kaepernick at being a pure NFL QB.

There wasn't ever a debate about that.

Kaeperdink uses the read option and his legs because he has too. Wilson uses them because he can.

Actually 200%.

6 additional receivers vs. 3 receivers = 200%.

That's actually 200%

VD and Boldin are still the only two targets to have a TD catch all season.

Naw...JG.....3 is your base....then 6 is 2x and 9 is 3x. So 3 receivers would be 100% of what uh oh.. and um uh...and then...oh damm. uh...okey dokey.
You are correct.

This is one of the best things about Wilson. He makes defenses have to guard all receivers not just one or two.

THis is correct tho. 3 receivers is equal.
6 receivers is 100% OVER the 3 receiver equal.
And 9 Receivers is 200% OVER the 3 equal amount. So I am wrong in agreeing with the fact that I was wrong. Which of course was wrong. I know what I need.

Wilson is better hands down. NO brought a lot of corners on many plays and Wilson still found his receivers. Wow is all that I can say!

You'd call it 100% better because it is literally the base number (3) plus 100% of the base number (3).

Oh yeah, I see this has been figured out by now in this thread.
