The San Francisco 49'ers strolled onto the Seahawk's home field, and they laid an absolute ass-whipping on our Seahawk's home team, 31 to 13, but the game was never really even that close. I don't even want to regurgitate the game statistics here, because the 49'ers clearly won all four quarters of that football game.
My summary is a lot different than the local media's take on that game, also different than what the players said, and also different than what Head Coach Pete Carroll had to say about it. Now, why would that be....?
The Hawk's only scored one TD the entire game, and that TD came courtesy of the defense. The other six points came by special teams kicking two field goals. That pretty much sums up all 13 points that the Hawk's scored in this game.
It also means that through 4 quarters of football, the Seahawk's never scored even 1 point while QB Geno Smith was on the field.
Why is that?
