For reasons cited above, I would make the Broncs favorites to return for sure. But sadly for that franchise, they are again operating in an era where there's very little chance they can beat the best in the NFC when it matters most. They are entering Buffalo territory now and I've met Bills fans that would have been just as happy with fewer trips to the SB. Seriously. I'm sure Scott Norwood sides with that group.
Not to diminish what we just did, but with a healthy Bradford, I think any team in the NFCW would stand a chance against this Denver team. Now, with a healthy Clady and Miller, maybe their chances improve..but as always: Run the ball. Stop the run. limit TOs. Win games.
This Denver team is more bent on showcasing what's left of Manning. Huge error, IMO. The AFC had their time, now the trend is back to smashmouth football. Who does that in the AFC (other than maybe KC)?
