I respect Cam as a monster athlete on the field but I cannot stand the man as a personality on the field. He's such a D bag I want to throw my remote at my TV when his smug face is running across my screen.

Panthers 0-1. I can sleep happy tonight. Thanks Denver.

Wasn't it a 4th and 21?

4th and 21 and a mutual contact foul at the LOS gives them a 1st down.

The fact the NFL continues to ignore this riiculousness is...ridiculous.
Yep, that's a joke....... But with that rule the way it is, the NFL can "steer" games to the desired direction.
We saw that happen tonight.

That's why watching him pout under the cryin' towel on the sidelines when things are going wrong, and his press conferences after a loss are so delicious. 8) it's pure torture for the guy! :2thumbs:

His constant whining to the refs annoys too.

Yep, he is the Dez Bryant of QB's in that regard.

Stewart launched himself, led with the crown of his helmet, and initiated helmet-to-helmet contact.

Certainly looks like head hunting. Either way, he will be getting a hefty fine next week

need one full speed.

Cam's head is a full foot higher when he launched and turned his shoulder into him.

Cammy only had a 69.5 QB rating tonight. Too much time spent on new dances, trash talking , "look at me" moments, cryin' to the zebras, and not enough focus on the game. If I were a panthers fan that would start to get old.

Yep, that's a solid shot right in the shoulder pad if Cam stays somewhat upright, but his entire body is coming down due to the leg tackle.

They didnt get away with anything. If not for the shot to the head, Cam's grounding would have cost them 10 plus yards.

Besides, off-setting penalties have been around, well, forever. Just how it goes.
I think the point is.. personal fouls shouldn't be offset by an intentional grounding foul.
So how do you handle such a situation?

Besides, The intentional grounding might have been more damaging than the personal foul. Its not like a personal foul was offset by a false start.
A personal foul, especially a head-to-head shot, should override any penalty other than another personal foul call.

Also hate how on 3rd and forever a 5 yard penalty results in a first down. But thats a separate rant ;)
I understand your premise, but you can't just pretend like the grounding didnt happen, just because a personal foul is committed. That's not even logical.

Yeah, the summers are death, but the winters are great. Seventy degrees and sunny every day.

Unfortunately, the winter only lasts from like around Thanksgiving to the beginning of March. As you'll find there are two seasons, not four. Dead-hot summer (March to mid-November) and pleasant winter (late-November to the end of February).

March to November??? Spoken by a true Northwesterner :)

April and October both boast mostly 80- to low 90 degree days. Which, with our low humidity, is heavenly.

We don't start regularly busting out 100 degree days until mid to late May.

And the long range forecast for next week here is mid 90's.

So really, death is just June through August really....unless you are a Seattle regular who thinks 80 degrees is hot :)

Dude, it's in the 90s as early as April sometimes. Like, May is usually when it gets that bad (and at about 90, it doesn't matter that it's a dry heat because it's too friggin' hot), but by March, the temps are climbing into the mid-80s and I'm staying in for the Central Air.

I remember moving my stuff into dorm rooms or apartments in August in 105+ degree weather...the worst. I used to walk from my job on campus to my apartment a couple miles in the summer...I survived that, so I can survive anything.

But yeah, we would stop playing basketball outside around late March and not come back out again until November, so I stand by my words!

The casinos in Vegas lost some coin tonight

Dog winning + the under should theoretically be good for the books. As the public tends to love favorites and high scores.

Funny how icing the kicker and letting him have a practice kick actually ended up paying off for Kubiak.

I'm sure this has already been brought up, but Denver Orange v Carolina blue looks great and is easy to watch.
