Way too early to predict next seasons record but does anybody have any off season predictions? Resigning current players? Wilson here or traded? Players or positions taken in the draft? FAs signed?

Anybody have any predictions?

I predict players will come and go in free agency. I also predict that they will pick guys in the draft who people will hate and not understand why they didn’t pick the guy(s) who they saw in mock drafts slotted as future Seahawks.

An IDL will be selected at 41 (or wherever their first pick is).

Another SAM will be signed or drafted.

- Diggs given an extension or franchised
- Wagner restructured with another year added but at a lower cap hit
- Penny given a one year deal with 2-3M of guaranteed money
- Brown brought back on another team friendly one year deal
- One big D-line free agent signing

Draft? More tricky to predict. SHOULD be heavy on the D and O line, but who knows with Pete and John.

Good list. In years past it always felt like we needed oLine and dLine help and I’d watch the draft and there always seemed to be a run on those players right before our pick. Always. 6 good DEs? All gone. 3-4 first round quality OLine? All gone. Every darn year.

Good list. Hope it happens.

Very hard to find immediate difference makers on the D-line late in drafts.

We aren't alone in taking questionable character risks (Irvin, McDowell, Clark), or hurt/developmental projects (Taylor).

Since we have no 1st rounder to take another dud reach like McDowell, that's why my prediction is this is the year to go hard after a big name D-line free agent.

And this is a good free agent class of edge rushers and D-linemen.

If we don't sign one or two of these guys? I will consider it an off season failure. Enough already with the band aid 3rd and 4th tier sloppy 2nds that blow out their ACL's in week four or disappear for entire seasons.

I'm pickin' up what you are layin' down.

I'll add to it...

Pete stays, John stays, Russ stays, 11-6, second round playoff exit. NET loses its mind.

Ok, let me have a go at this.

Russ is here to stay...

We will sign at least 1 DE in free agency who will weigh in above 280lbs

We'll draft a player at number 41 who is under 6'2" and less than 220 lbs.

Pete Carroll will chew gum on the sidelines during all the games.

Our mascot "blitz" will fall down on the job at some point. He'll be ok !

Our defense gets 200 rushing yards hung on them, and everybody wonder how ?

Penny gets injured.

DK won't give up on his binky.

Cheers :beach:

Honestly, after last season? I'd take this.

Just winning one playoff game would make me think we just might be going in the right direction again. Because another season like 2021? It's ALL gonna get blown up.

No thanks. One sack last year and got dumped for a 6th rounder by Pittsburgh.

Jones and Miller should be targets 1. and 2.

National media and fantasy football goobers will predict on social media that Russ and DK will be traded to their favorite teams for “spare parts” players, mid level draft picks, and a bag of used footballs.

Who we kidding they are going to do what they have done. Wait 3 weeks sign all the scrubs hope they work. And when they don't just go oh well. Giving us the "this is the best team we have had ever" line. Picking players in the draft that ppl go huh wasn't he a 6th rounder in the second round. And then waste another year. So russ can leave we will be stuck with pete and then we will be truly crap again.
