That is an easy question for me..........Living in Omaha, the .Net family keeps me informed on everything Seahawks and not only everything Seahawks but the contributors to this site make .net the best site for any information on the web. I love my Seahawks and I Love .net.

Also living in Omaha, I rely on you all like a local news source that I don't have access to. I know if it's Hawk related, I can find it here. I never come here to break a story, rather to get the FULL details (with opinions) on the new news others are trying to tell me by text.

Net has been the one site on the internet that I have stayed with for this many years. Well, an honorable mention to porntube. I don't even go to ESPN.com anymore, as they have nothing for me anymore. If I'm gonna argue about sports, I want to do it with the most educatesd and pride-filled fans on the planet.

Believe it or not, that's us!

Coming from a place where the one of the things that unites all its people is CRICKET (the sport not the insect), I quickly fell in love with football after reaching these shores. The first match I was in stadium is the match that caused a quake.
Had to move from seattle to carolinas for work and was searching for a place to get all news about my favourite team. .NET is my one stop shop for all things seahawks. Though mostly a ROMer, I find my solace here knowing I am not far from my team and its news as long as I can login to .NET

Ha, very cool. I love .Net because of things like this, and the sense of community that extends beyond the browser window (see: Everything Radish, Guido's hat wager last year, etc.). Best fans in the NFL.

This site is the most informative of any other sites I visited. I only joined last year. However, I have been a Seahawks fan ever since I was 6 years old in 1976. When Seattle and Tampa Bay was awarded expansion teams. My brother and I living in Hawaii had no favorite NFL teams then. So We made a pact to choose one of the two new teams.

Of course he being the older brother, he picked first and he took Tampa Bay. By default Seattle Seahawks was mine.
He reneged on the deal and later became a fan of the Miami Dolphins instead because of Bob Griese. But I stuck with the Seattle through thick and thin from Zorn to Largent, Dave Krieg to Daryl "deep heat" Turner. To finally winning our first Super Bowl.
With that said... From all the different topics to read, a site that also is so easy to navigate ,to all the different people who contribute to this site makes this a wonderful community to be a part of.

I love .net for the access to information and opinions. I also appreciate that when the wife starts to get on me for being too fanatical I can pull up some of the crap you all have done and appear relatively normal.

Love this place and the fact that it is a collection of tons of different personalities tied together with one common interest. I have learned so much and have been helped out as well! ( Thanks again Barthawk). I grew up cheering on the Seahawks with my father before my parents got divorced and my mother moved us to Ohio, so the Seahawks are that catalyst to my hometown and the memories I had as a child with my family. We are all incredibly lucky to have a place such as this to vent our frustrations and share our joy!

I also don't need a hat, already got one like it. but do want to thank the creators / supporters / community of .net.

I've been a Seahawks fan since I was a young boy and have been browsing forums for years, but only technology forums (my profession). Never thought to put the two TOGETHER ( /facepalm ) until a couple years ago when I started browsing .net.

Absolutely love it here. Good conversation. And a great for someone like me who's not one of the "number cruncher" guys to get stats, etc. I've never met anyone here face to face and probably never will, but feel like I know several of you already.

Due to the weekly (love all the weekly gameday / prediction / etc topics, btw) enemy fan forums topics I also started looking around other team's fan forums and .. wow .. there is so much more respect for each other here than I've seen on any other fan forums. Kudos to the community and to the mods for keeping things from getting out of hand!

As said before, .net allows out-of-towners (like me) to stay up on current news. I think it's also important to note that .net has a much lower % of boneheads too. We hear it all the time from visitors; how they wish other fan bases were as knowledgeable and respectful as we are here at this site. Of course, it's not 0% bonehead, but it's much lower than the average fan site. I think that's the aspect I appreciate most about .net. I don't post a lot. But I don't post anything anywhere else. Here I feel comfortable that if someone disagrees, it'll be a respectable discussion. I don't have the confidence on any other site. Even if it's a disagreement about someone else's post. I enjoy digesting and disecting it much more when the conversation doesn't degrade to juvenile arguments.

The people here are terrific and I make it a part of my day everyday to at least come here and read, even when I should be doing some really important work!!! :lol:

Living out of market, It's a great way to gain local insight into the team and happenings around Seattle. When I lived in Vancouver I could drive down to Seattle 5 times a year easily, now, one flight a year during football season is about the best I can do. .NET helps me feel connected to the team when I'm not in town.

I love this board because, as others have already said, there are so many knoweldgeable posters here, many more than can be found at most sports media site.

I also love it because it is possible to have well thought out discussions (arguments). It doesn't always happen that way, but it happens more here than anywhere else.

Plus, I have developed some pretty good online relationships here (as much as you can call an online relationship a relationship), and I have enjoyed meeting several members in person on occasion.
