Lockette has Surgery to repair ligament damage

Did anyone else see Lockette grab his hamstring before the hit, or is there some other explanation for that grabbing movement?

Yeah, that is the first thing I noticed on the replay was him reaching down for his hammy while still running forward. I thought it distracted him enough that when he looked up it was too late to prepare himself for the hit.
