Wouldn't throw simple crossing routes in Week 13 against big zone holes. He's late on many throws. I don't think he's fixable, but he becomes a FA after 2024 so there's little value in putting resources into trying to fix him.

There are some who believe Bears offense will be fine with DJ Moore, Marvin Harrison, jr. and a new center to solidify the offensive line. Bears with a competent OC will have a very good running game again in 2024. And with two Pro Bowl receivers, Fields doesn’t need to be great passer — just good enough. That’s how I see it, but others want to trade Fields for a second round pick to draft a center after drafting a QB with the Panthers #1 pick.

Of course, nobody knows what Poles is thinking, but it may depend on how well Fields plays in the upcoming games with Lions and Packers.
