Sioux? Is that you?

Hell to the no...I am on packer forum just listening to them discuss their game today. I am for Bevell being there in Detroit.

So you admit to being pro-Bevell then.

APOLOGIZE!!

Detroit’s offense looks really fresh! If Bev plays his cards right he could replace Patty!

If you think this is even a question, you don't understand the basics of offensive scheming and personnel packages.

Schottenheimer is unquestionably better than Bevell. That doesn't make him a genius, but even Schotty being an average OC is a HUGE upgrade over Bevell.

Thank you for your well thought out input. This is why we have an open forum where anyone can post without feeling a top arsehole!

The one thing I genuinely respect about Schotty, is that he has GREAT red zone schemes. We lead the NFL in red zone conversions.

He also calls running plays relatively well, better than most. His passing scheme is elevated by 1000x by Russ, so in many ways it’s a good match

Doesn’t matter, they both have to play within Pete’s scheme. Run heavy, capitalize on big plays. Schotty is just executing it better...

Yeah if you think that you are to watching. There is a difference. It is not just run and big plays, Wilson has other options, and check downs something he rarely had with Bevel.

Schotty doesn’t have to dealt with assist HC Tom Cable who also owned running game. Kinda hard to judge Bevel when he coached with one hand tied behind his back.

I think you hit the nail on the head right there with dealing with Cable.

I think that adding a NFL route tree rather then the three routes Bevell had and the bubble screen also helped.

If Cable was ruining Bevell's offense and Bevell doesn't know or do anything about that, that's still partly on Bevell.

Well Cable was known for punching coaches out so may DB was scared? He will make a great head coach in Detroit.

A crash dummy is an upgrade over Bevell. It's hard to imagine anyone being dumb enough to make him a HC, but, the fact that he and Cable Guy both have jobs in the NFL is already unfathomable.
