I don't post much but I read the posts daily. Started watching the Hawks back in 82/83 when it was first broadcast on channel 4 over here in Scotland.
Loved the passion in th 80's.
We lost it in the 90's and earl 2000's.
My view - we were innovative with our defensive approach n in 2012/2014. Since then we have waned (or been overtaken) on defense who looked at our scheme and took it forward.
With Baldwin/Lynch we had a great tandem and since then we have not had that. Russ can't do it on his own and as we have seen over the last few years it has started slipping away,
The stop-gap of giving away multiple picks for Adams was ridiculous. 1 player cannot affect a team than much unless he is the QB.
I love the Hawks and will one day get to see them at home but for now lets rebuild from top to bottom.
