9 Years Washington Army National Guard (I'm an AGR- Active Guard/Reserve)

I will be doing my full 20, hopefully I can be deployed quite a few more times

This country's armed forces have done thousands of different jobs for thousands of different reasons which include having nothing to do with "meaningless wars". They deserve our thanks. If you don't know that or just purposely ignoring that then you're in no authority to tell anyone to "wake the hell up".
