Can someone explain to me why we got a early start time and New England gets a late start time this weekend? That doesn't seem to make any sense whatsoever.

I know it's not a huge deal, but WTF, some of us work during the day.

Because someone gets the early game and someone gets the late game. And if we had the late game someone would complain that we didn't have the 1:30 game.

Note: I also work on weekends (Sundays, fortunately for this weekend). I have taken next Sunday off for NFC Champ game, and Super Bowl Sunday off. If for some reason I couldn't get those days off, I would have been magically sick those days.

In 2009... the AFC #1 (Tennessee) opened the divisional round games
In 2010... the NFC #1 (New Orleans) opened the divisional round games
In 2011.. the AFC #2 (Pittsburgh) opened the divisional round games
In 2012.. the NFC #2 (San Francisco) opened the divisional round games
In 2013.. the AFC #1 (Denver) opened the divisional round games.
.. any questions?

Not true at all. It's a rotation. Next year whoever is the 2 seed in the AFC will get the early Saturday game and whoever is the 1 seed in the NFC will get the late game.

Thank you. Now it makes sense. And SF has an early game tomorrow so it's just how it is this year.

The game slots are scheduled in this round before the teams are known (as said earlier they alternate) with FOX having NFC Divisional Games and CBS having the AFC divisional games. This enables them to set their programming ahead of time and get the most "bang for the buck". At least that's the perception I've always had with they why of it

Because the air in the Clink is warmer during the day time and this allows for lower air density and thus louder conditions than an evening game with cooler air, hence the football gods favor the Seahawks fans.

Charts and graphs are available in the lobby on demand.

Thanks

Yes, a question: What do you mean by "opened"?

Because logically if its Seahawks and Patriots on Saturday. #1 NFC/#2 AFC Hosts...

And Panthers and Broncos on Sunday. #2 NFC/#1 AFC Hosts...

Doesn't that mean that in 2013, both NFC teams opened for AFC teams?

Or am I missing something?

Just HOW is Denver "OPENING" up the Divisional Round by playing the last of 4 Post-Season games?
