If Earl doesn't report by next Saturday he will lose his guarantee. If he comes in after that point and is injured the Hawks could cut him.

My son in law is a huge Cowboys fan.
I was with him yesterday when “his boys” cut Dan Bailey, he was frustrated and heartbroken, then he realized that maybe they were creating cap space to make a push for Earl.

Wonder if there’s any validity to that thought?

Wouldn't have said so to be honest.

The Cowboys could have afforded Earl prior to Bailey being cut.

I know most here don't like him now, but gosh our safety group looks really shaky. It would be nice to have Earl back just to patch up the hole and lend some stability to the back end.
