Not getting Griffen may be a tactic Carroll is using to motivate his young players.

Placing total faith in young players may be the motivation they need to learn and develop.

However, trusting unproven guys can backfire but Carroll is not one to be scared to play young guys.

Eventually if you play them enough they may develop.

We’ll see.

GD it, I did not expect this at all. I thought for sure Griffen was signing here. I am not a Clowney fan at all, but now WE have to sign this guy. Griffen got what 6mil a year. Seattle couldn't swing that or they had no interest to begin with. I don't even think the Seahawks can afford Clowney right now. I don't want that blonde headed numb nuts Clay Matthews on this team. I can't stand that dude. Plus he's like 34 or 35. Our D-line is bad no matter how you slice it up. WE have to add Clowney, and I can't believe I'm saying that.
