yep! I feel like he is a lot like Geno. Kid can spin it, makes some great plays, then some questionable decisions. But if you can protect him and call some reasonably sane plays, he can make things happen.

He does appear to have some zip on his throws.

he needs reps in this system with the 1’s.
he moves well and just needs to limit the picks and dude is a pretty damn good qb when all that is running.

He was good against SF sans 2 picks. I don’t trust Waldron but who knows maybe coach Kline found his playbook
I think we forget those picks were in the 4th qtr, down by 2 scores, trying to make something happen.

A QBs mental risk assessment skews quite a bit 8n that situation.

Imagine if he had 1.5 years of reps with the 1st team, and OTAs etc.

He might actually have gained a little rapport with the receivers.
I would rather give Lock a chance rather than draft a rookie (unless it's with a 3+ rounder). This kid has talent.

I want Lock cause he'll save a lot of cap $ over Geno and be at about the same level.

I still want a rookie to take a chance at something better.
