In two years, any chance we will be talking as much about Myles Adam (6'2" 290lbs) , or Jonah Tavai (5'10", 283 lbs), as Calijah Kancey (6'0" 281 lbs)? All three didn't have the ideal size, Kancey was a first round pick, 19th overall pick, Adams and Tavai aren't.

Football God moves in mysterious ways, so what do you think?

If Kancey was still on the board at 20 it would have been hard decision for the Seahawks. I think they would have picked him over JSN. Not complaining about getting JSN but the choice became easier once Kancey was off the board.

I had him at #20, so was sad that he was gone.

Kancey is a better metrics guy. No doubt. That doesn't necessarily translate to on the field in pads play though.

John Randle was undrafted.

Randle went undrafted; he tried out for his brother's team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but was thought to be too small, and was not signed to a contract. The 6'1" 244-lbs. defensive lineman was picked up by the Vikings after the draft on the recommendation of Head Scout Don Deisch.

Randles was one of the very best,!! Hoping that our two undersized DTs will develop into great players.

I met Randle once in passing and I have to say he had some of the biggest arms I've ever seen in my life. Huge.

And yes , he was a very nice person. He was a game changer while with the Vikings and still pretty good once he came to Seattle. Could you imagine if Tavai was to play to a comparable level?

That would be silly

It's not the dog in the fight but the fight in the dog. These folks will sink and swim on their will to dominate as much as their measurables.

And I absolutely would prefer JSN over Kancey. JSN is a unique talent.
