Bennett has that motor and he is slippery as Largent80 on a Saturday night.

Glad to hear Big Balls Pete so excited, you know Quinn has a chubby

It just isn't often you see somebody lining up at DT and playing "fast." Kind of reminds me of Justin Tuck in his prime.
Or John Randle.

Now THAT is a good comparison. Put a little makeup and have him bark like a dog and you'd think it was 2001 all over again.

Randle was 6'1" 290, Bennett 6'4" 287. Different build types.

Different body types yes, but definite similarities in play style.

Cut Clem and sign Bennett to a long term deal.
Well, that's just silly.

Work with Clemons to sign him to a friendly short term deal, and sign Bennett to an equally friendly mid-term deal.

Hadn't seen anybody link to this. Really just a look at how unique the guy is as far as defensive linemen go.

Here's a look at what Carroll was asked about Bennett, his actual answers and then a translation of what he really meant. Keep in mind, no translation is literal and these interpretations are seasoned with a little good-natured sarcasm.

Michael Bennett might end up the top free agent in 2014. It's conceivable that Seattle won't franchise (though I'm guessing they would). Rather than worry about it, I'm just excited about the possibility that Seattle might sign Michael Bennett again next offseason. This time, to the long term deal he deserves.
