Hey guys, I have a theory . . . . About Marshawn Lynch. The guy is amazing, strong, powerful, great movement etc.. So many athletes get hurt, bottom line [Even in warmups] . Look at our precious Brandon Mebane, the most current example and he's out for the duration WHAH!!!.
I think Marsh has a special UNIQUE GENETIC MAKEUP. What I mean is, maybe the ligaments, cartilage, tendons, muscle & bone structure that he has is genetically superior to most humans. Had a friend who, in her 90's was in great health and had a saying: "If it isn't swimming in grease, it's not worth eating." She had high cholesterol but genetically, was superior to others in her age bracket and younger. Genetically, she was superior to everyone her age. Could run, get down on her knees & back up <> no help. Use tools, no arthritis. I could go on, trust me, in better health than most.
And that's what I'm saying about Marsh. I wish they could do some genetic testing on him. The rest of the Hawks could take some advice from him in how to work out, warmup, eat, rest, sleep, and LIVE. But his physiology is almost super human. Maybe an exaggeration but ya all get what I'm sayin'. The older Marsh gets, the better HE gets: more powerful, focused, in-tune etc.. Doesn't come to training YET . . . BOOM, in tip-top-shape. What was he doing to keep himself IN shape before the games??
If the Hawks got Doctors, therapists, chiropractors, trainers etc. that know what I'm talkin' about, they would check my theory out. Man, I KNOW I'M ON TO SOMETHING HERE! If anyone agrees, please like this post and let's see what happens [put it on FB]. Our guys can benefit from genetic knowledge. They don't need drugs, they need knowledge of what can improve them physically.
And there are supplements that bodybuilders use for specific physiological needs. Athletes use them too. There are specific training schedules, diets, supplements, sleeping & daily activities that teams have started incorporating into their individual athletes specific needs.
The Philadelphia Eagles' strength & conditioning coach has incorporated a program [For more than a year, Chip Kelly's program has been illustrated and chronicled through a string of fast-paced practices, protein shakes, sleep cycles and video game statistics] into improving his team players.

Anyway, I feel I'm on to something. Could be wrong BUT genetically, there ARE superior athletes. Michael Phelps is one. His physiological makeup [long waist, bigger lungs & more] contributed to his winning. And many more athletes JUST like him with superior genetics.
Just a thought to ruminate on.
