Picking on Webzone? Low hanging fruit. That being said, it was pretty funny. My dream is to herd all the delusional 49er fans to that site. Its good for a laugh at times.

Oh come on now.

I hate it when peeps from the official site look down on the 'zone. Yeah, there are some loons in there but they exist on every forum. There are some really good posters in there too.
The Webzone has a much higher percentage of moronic posters than any popular NFL forum I've ever seen, whether you admit it or not. Also, virtually every quote I posted had at least two grammatical mistakes; the average IQ over there has got to be in the double digits.

I do have a serious question for you, Marvin. I read your post about the review of your week one game over there, and it was feel-good piece, (nothing wrong with that, to be expected) but you never touched on your defense. 10 points or so that you listed, and you ignored the fact that your defense looked average, which is a pretty big decline for you guys from a healthy 49ers defense in 2012, and 2011. You can't just explain it away as "Aaron Rodgers is the best in the biz", (we held him to 12 points last year after all, and that includes a TD they only got off of a totally bogus PI call on 3rd down at midfield that would have forced them to punt with real refs in the game) so tell me - what did you think of your defense last Sunday? I already said what I thought; that it looked average. Are you concerned at all? If not, why?

Right. Sigh.

I've been on ALOT of forums and I've seen FAR, FAR worse. It gets pretty bad in here sometimes and KC was by far the worst I've ever seen. All the stuff I've read from 49er fans in here about the 'zone I've read from other Seattle fans about .net over there. Its just a matter of perspective.

Moving on...

The reason I didn't mention the D was because it didn't surprise me. I do those things every single week of the season and I only mention what strikes me. I EXPECTED the Packers to put up points and yards. He's Aaron Rodgers. I'm not concerned with the passing D because that is what I thought would happen.

Aaron Rodgers threw for 303 yards, 2 TDs with a 93.3 rating in the season opener LAST year. He threw for 257 yards and 2 TDs with a 91.5 rating in the playoffs. In this past game he had 333 yards, 3 TDs, and a 102 rating. The biggest diff in those statlines is the 3rd TD on Sunday. Yes, he was better...but this is a team that got embarassed TWICE last season by the 49ers and had been preparing for 6 months for this game. While the 49ers moved on to Atlanta and then Baltimore, the Packers season last year was bookended by losses to SF and has now begun with another. I expected a tough challenge on both sides of the ball and that's exactly what I saw.

In every 49ers matchup, Rodgers will do something seemingly impossible once or twice, he'll pick up yards, and he's good for 1 pick on a mistake or a drop by one of his players. Happens every time.

Despite giving up 300 yards in the opener last year, the 49ers were still the #1 ranked pass D in the NFL last year until the Smith Bros were hurt.

I'm not going to compare Rodgers stats vs Seattle to his stats vs SF because they are different animals. While both teams have good D's, they are good for different reasons. In 2011, the 49ers probably had the best D in the NFL, yet their pass D was close to the middle of the pack. It was the run D that was so outstanding.

They seem REAL scared, and most seem to have real short memories!
They seem to forget the Merry Masacre here in December and fail to realize that the ninnies averaged a huge 13 points a game against Seattle last year. But then again these are the same folks that say that Aldon Smith isn't a product of the cowboy, and the reason he sucked in December was because Aldon's lady parts were hurting!

Its all fuel for the fire as a Happy Seahawk fan.

This game should be epic. Its one matchup the entire NFL fanbase should be anticipating.

Is something wrong with Boldin? It seemed like the 9er fans are already anticipating a "Kamcussion".

Thanks for posting the quotes here Roland.

I'd never go to a Nines forum....it would be like watching gay porn in a kindergarten room. If I ever imagined such a thing.

I also think it was funny how Kaepernick didn't play well against us last year, and we just held a carbon copy of him (Newton) to less than 200 yards of offense.

I really hope Browner plays. Boldin's game plays right into Browner's wheelhouse; Boldin isn't an uber quick WR than can beat him in space, which is the kind of guy that gives him trouble. Good luck trying to out physical a 6'4" 225lb CB.

My favorite quote was about Wilson pulling out his leprechaun magic. LOL.

It was among the dumbest Dorko, because in the first place, RW doesn't get scatterbrained like Krappernick does, and secondly, you don't have to be 6'-11" to be a good Quarterback,,,Seems like everybody BUT most of the 49rs fandom understands that, but of course, that's what you go with, when you follow the other lemmings over the cliff, who are all echoing the same bullsh*t.

It's all in fun. Chill.

Right  , At one time, I wanted PC & JS to draft Kaep, but since then, he dons a Pnins BBcap, and tells his fan base to chill about it, I'm now thinking that PC & JS had a better handle on Kaep's personality flaws, and how he's no fit for a Seahawks system, nor it's fandom.
All that bullshit we hear about Russell Wilson being too short has gone beyond childish, but I guess not beyond 49s childish eh?
One point Starvin, I don't have any desire to go over to a 49rs fan board and troll through the tulips, nor any of the blooming idiots there abouts. :49ersmall:

I have to point out that all the stuff we tease Papaki about (aside from his Squidward face) are choices that he has made. The only, lone, single thing 9er fans have on Russell Wilson is his height. HAhaHAha...

...and furthermore, suck it.

Where did the name Papaki come from?
It is in my siggy. My husband, who is a 49er fan who also roots for the Seahawks, had trouble remembering Kaepernick's name.

I love, just love seeing the decent 49er fans that we have on this site (the ones who haven't been banned) get offended when we link to Webzone. I know it's gotta suck having that be your team's most popular forum. But guess what, Niner fans? THOSE ARE YOUR FANS! This site here is the equivalent of that garbage site. And the fact that you guys continue to post here (and have pretty decent conversation with us, if I was to say so myself) just shows that you think higher of our site than flippin webzone. It's gotta suck knowing your average fans are gigantic d bags. But hey, so is your coach. ;)

I know I'm totally crapping all over Niner fans with this post, as is my intent. Seriously now, I attended a game at Candledump back during the Singletary years and had a beer poured on my head while silently walking through the parking lot to the stadium, and was spit in the face point blank (I made the drunken mistake of taking offense to having food thrown at me during the game in the 300 level. yeah dumb call, i know) and then had an usher tell me that's what i got for wearing my jersey in their stadium. I've attended Hawks games in 11 different cities outside Seattle. I'm sorry, but your fans are the biggest dickbags I've ever come across. And it's not even close. I can't even begin to contemplate what city would take the #2 spot. And that was back when your team wasn't any good! I would be downright scared to go to your stadium and parking lot full of wannabe thug Raider fans now that you guys got something to bark about. A Hawk fan got knifed after the game I went to. What the heck would happen now that you guys are one of the best teams in the league?! So sorry if you decent 49er fans don't appreciate webzone representing you guys. But I gotta say, it fits the bill as far as I've experienced. But it's not all bad. Take solace with the fact that we think those of you who post here are pretty stand up. Otherwise you'd had been banned with all of the other Niner fans who tried posting here. Good on you guys for being the exception to the rule. I mean that truthfully and without snark. Thanks for proving webzone and what I experienced in your POS stadium isn't an absolute rule. ;)

Go Hawks.

Go Hawks.

I'm happy to admit that I like this site more than the Webzone. I think that site is full of nutjobs. Some of them are good, but far too many of them are not (sorry Marvin, its my opinion). But I also do not believe that message boards generally represent the fanbase at all. Fans who participate in message boards are a small percentage of any particular fanbase. So I don't think it is fair to assign any kind of rep on a fanbase based on that team's message board(s).

As for the Stick, yes, it has gotten worse over the years. I've seen it, but I do think it is overblown. I've been going to games for 20 years now. And I know some will question this, but I truly believe the new stadium, and the new prices, will weed out a lot of the problems. Coupled with the team being good again, I expect the fans at the new stadium to resemble the "old" days. We will see on that.

In fairness, I do not park in the parking lot, nor tailgate, so I can't attest to the parking lot. I have heard of more issues in the parking lot then in the actual stadium.
