I've been skeptical about benching Geno - but, that's the type of play that changes my mind.
He's a middling to bad QB.
It's time...
Let's see what Lock can do.
Man, before the day -- my perfect draft would have been Philly's -- Carter at 5 and Smith at 20.
I trust John in his assessment of Carter. But, that's a good haul.
ARGHHHHHHHH - Breese.
With him and Mazi gone, I am bit worried of getting a guy who can start at DT next year.
Schneider might need to trade up to get a Benton or Uzomah type. May be a run on all these guys.
Really liking the last few picks in relation for Seahawks Day 2 chances.
Directly after Seattle picked -- it's been: WR, WR, WR, CB...
Keeping picking those position groups!
I actually think there's a really good chance that Hawks have their own Sauce/Garrett Wilson combination as ROY possibilities with 'Spoon and JSN. Solid chance they win offensive and defensive rookie of the year.
So, tomorrow -- let's see two of the following over the next 2 rounds, and I'd be stoked about this draft:
1) Bryan Breese
2) Mazi Smith
3) O'Cyrus Torrence
4) Trenton Simpson
5) Daiyan Henley
6) John Michael Schmitz
It is pretty amazing the last 2 drafts though.
The following Premium positions on rookie contracts.
1) Bookend Tackles
2) Bookend Cornerbacks
3) Solid WR/ Lockett Protégé.
