    Snyder is an idiot!

Sources from inside the organization are saying Griff may have a ACL/PCL tear. Some reports saying he's out for all of 2013. I'll wait until it's official, but these sources are good ones and usually on the money.

    Congratulations, Seahawks.

I really would like to see you guys do quite well. Thanks for the hospitality. I may pop in from time to time to talk football. Good luck the rest of the way.

    Congratulations, Seahawks.

    Your mouth to God's ears.

    Congratulations, Seahawks.

Oh, you guys won? Must have missed that with my congratulations and you have a great team post ;) There are no excuses. You guys won. Fair and square. That's the game of football. You dealt with injuries as well. It happens. Congrats again.

    Congratulations, Seahawks.

You may be right. Like I said before, you guys have a heck of a team.

    Congratulations, Seahawks.

That wasn't an excuse. Griffin was hurt. That's not an excuse. We've won with him hurt. It's an emotion. Seattle is phenomenal.

    Congratulations, Seahawks.

The re-injury to Griffin's knee did us in, and in combination, Mike Shanahan's refusal to pull him really hurt the team. I feel good about the Redskins season as a whole, but definitely disappointed in how it ended. I'll still be wearing my 'Skins gear proudly tomorrow. That said, there are no...

This Week's Enemy Fan Forums: Wild Card Edition!

Every phase of the game, SF is "leaps and bounds" better than Washington? I'll give them defense, and maybe special teams, save field goals where Akers has been iffy. But offense? I can't give them that. San Francisco is a much more balanced team, and their defense is far better, though.

Interesting reading on RG3's injury and Shanny's LIES

Shark, you may absolutely be correct. I just know through various reasons that the media sensationalizes things. It could be as simple as miscommunication or as complicated as a tangled web of Shanahan lies. I'm just apprehensive is all :)

Interesting reading on RG3's injury and Shanny's LIES

Perhaps. But there's a lot that could have happened. Shanahan is coaching a football game. When Griff ran back on the field, it's entirely possible that he had no idea if Andrews had cleared him or not, and Shanahan was under the impression that he had. *shrug* Who knows. Like I said, if...

Interesting reading on RG3's injury and Shanny's LIES

Don't tell my fellow 'Skins fans, but I think most of you guys are pretty fun to talk football with. I don't have ill will, it's a football game. May the best team win. Whatever happens, I'll be humble in victory and show humility in defeat :)

Interesting reading on RG3's injury and Shanny's LIES

If true, it's bad mojo. That said, I don't particularly trust the media, and I think this would have been out a lot sooner. There is likely more to it than this :)

Funny how similar Carroll/Shanahan have done things...

Maybe. But I bet you'd love RG3 if Seattle made a trade up for him, too. I like the way both teams got their guys. The 'Skins finally made an aggressive move that made sense. Seattle took a guy that they thought would be a total stud. For the record, rumor has it Shanahan had Wilson targetted...

Seahawks-Redskins Preview...5 Keys to a Hawks Victory (FULL)

You seem like you know your stuff, thanks for the response. As you most likely know, actually getting a sack isn't necessarily the goal when bringing pressure. Forcing a quick decision and throw is just as valuable as a sack. I believe the sack is an overrated statistic, but it's currently the...

Seahawks-Redskins Preview...5 Keys to a Hawks Victory (FULL)

Could be more than two. Defensive linemen can, and will, zone drop at times. But yes, that's the gist :) Kerrigan isn't an inside linebacker, so your example is moot anyways. He's not great in coverage. Our 3-4 is essentially the Bud Wilkinson 5-2. The caveat being we use backers in place of...

Seahawks-Redskins Preview...5 Keys to a Hawks Victory (FULL)

Moss is not the Redskins #2 receiver. He is our slot guy. Leonard Hankerson or Joshua Morgan are our number two, and both have made plays for us this year. It'll be interesting to see if they put Sherman or Browner in the slot against Moss (likely Browner). But then who do they put on...

Seahawks-Redskins Preview...5 Keys to a Hawks Victory (FULL)

Not necessarily the case. Since the advent of Dick LeBeau's zone blitz scheme, there doesn't necessarily have to be many open seams to attack, especially in conjunction with the pattern read zone coverage that Nick Saban helped to popularize. A basic fire zone is a 3 under 3 deep coverage. That...

    Wrong on Wilson

He predicted we'd be 3-13 and wouldn't score over 21 points once this season. Yes. We both agree.

    The Skins/Hawks Match Up

The same came be said for RG3, though. Our quarterbacks are both calm, cool and collected and absolute leaders of men.
