How do Pats match up with us?

This superbowl is so intriguing due to the varying reasons already mentioned by the hawk fans and 1 pat fan n this thread already A quick release QB with a balanced attack A great set of coaches Our run game Our DLine v their O-line Their corners v our receivers. Lob What the pats fan has to...

I don't ever again want to hear...

I think the issue for me here is that the refs (all over the league) are becoming a talking point week after week. Now this game was down to poor offence, of that their is no doubt, but the refs are leaving it open to woulda/coulda/shoulda with their terrible decisions. 2 big plays in this...

So, after week 3, the Seahawks are 3-0.....

Tough Games that could go either way for me are @ Houston @ Indy @ Atlanta @ San Fran New Orleans Every week is different in this league and remember our travel woes. I am hoping and paraying we can win these next 2 away games. Beat Houston & Indy and I will be supremley confident we can get...

    Second favorite team

Growing up in Seattle in the 90's you obviously had the home town teams to support and always did, but I, like many others took to players in sports and liked the teams accrodingly Thurman Thomas was my football hero.....Bills were my favourite team out with Seattle Kevin Johnson was my...

Big Red: His role next season

Thank you very much, very nice of you to explain and makes more sense now. So if red was moved back inside, where do we see his most effective position? Id assume 3 technique to take up the attention of the guard and the tackle? Also for the earlier response about getting rid of big red, I...

Big Red: His role next season

Having now picked up Avril & Bennett and also having Irvin and Clemons on board, what will this mean for the role of Red Bryant on the team? I know last year we played Red as a sort of hybrid DE. With Clemons on his opposite side. Branch/Mebane/Jones roatiting at DT with Irvin coming into to...

The off-season is as long as it needs to be.

The off season does bring its own positives, and we do need it to keep our love of the game strong. However Id be happier if it was not as long. So maybe the season ran from June/July to Jan. Off season for 6 months, then football for 6 months. Seems reasonable to me. As it stands we get 4-5...

Seahawks Salary Information (updated with Kam's details)

Here is an article in a UK paper today about all 32 teams and the salaries they currently have on offence and defence. Not sure if the numbers tie up with the above links etc, but shows the hawks as the 30th team in the league in terms of salary paid http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/interac ...

Pride and respect from 5000 miles away..

Well Im about another 800 miles up the road in sunny Glasgow Scotland, and I too was met with some good positive conversation in work today too. Bearing in mind the NFL and american sports are still a Niche market here, to have anyone talking about it with you is amazing. To have them praising...

    Do we need a burner?

3 I know who are big names are Welker, Bowe and Greg Jennings

    Do we need a burner?

The biggest need is pass rush...DT/DE whatever way they go it nees to be in getting pressure to the opposing QB. WR is a posiiton you can fil in any of the rounds of the draft, plus a lot of FA's too.

    Who is your X factor?

Zach Miller........focus for Atlanta will be on stopping the run, and the corners will be focused on the wideouts. Leaving Miller (and to a lesser extent McCoy) to get open over the middle

    Key to stopping ATL offense

Pressure is the key...I hope we dont play like we did the 2nd half v GB and stand off all vanilla and let them pick us off over the middle with ease. We must get pressure on Matt Ryan. They are going to get their catches with the talent they have....but if we can get pressure, then our corners...
