Yes, posts like that can get out of hand lightning fast in a football forum and regardless of how "harmless" some may think it is, the fact is it's racist pure and simple and we need to be ever vigilant for similarly-related posts for sure.

There a paticular reason my post about the Rams uniforms in 2018 in the throwback week 1 throwbacks thread made you angry? I don't like the Rams either, but I was just using them as an example of being able to wear throwbacks as a primary, even if they didn't match.

BTW, I was born in Elmhurst Memorial Hospital on January 25th of 1949... so I'm an old Hawk fan myself.

I didn’t grow up there. I was born there and we moved about 2 months later. Have lots of family in the Chicagoland area so I’ve been back a lot. My dad went to Elmhurst college so I’m guessing it might be near the hospital you were born in.

I was born downtown at Wesley Memorial Hospital.

Found it. This is fascinating looking indeed. Thank you. If you've not seen it I recommend the BBC miniseries from 1969 called Civilisation with Kenneth Clark. It's an art history narrative prospective on history. It's very fascinating and very relevant to now. If you need a way to watch let me know as I'll send it to you. Oh and I also recommend Bill Moyers's Consuming Images.
