They were able to run pretty effectively against us last year, when no one gave their running game much thought. Hoping that Quinn has taken notes! They also held Lynch to 46 yards, so that can't happen again. Last season we went into Atlanta missing Clemons and Hauschka (remember Chuckwurah and Longwell) both of whom (Clemons in particular) could have had an impact in the way that turned out. Now we have both of them back and most of the OL is AWOL! So that could be better. But I think Pete will strive to establish the running game. If we hold onto the ball, limit the amount of time Wilson is under duress, keep our collection of yellow flags to say 6-7, and Rush for 100 yards this game won't be close. Fail to do any or all of those things then it could be a problem. Once again it will come down to Wilson and Lynch I believe. This could be a great game for Luke Willson to shine as the Falcons would be stupid to leave Miller alone like last year!

Atlanta is last in the league in rushing? TRANSLATION = 150+ rushing game against the hawks

Yep. Remember when everyone laughed and said there's no way a geriatric Michael Turner could run on our D last year?

I don't care how bad the other team's running game is, this is the NFL. Which means if your D doesn't tackle, gets out of position and misses assignments like we've been doing the past two weeks, Atlanta WILL run on us.

Exactly! I would bet money on it.

Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com shares his picks and predictions for Week 10, taking the Seahawks 24-21 over the Falcons.

Well that's just great. Looks like a loss is imminent. Thanks a lot PETE.

I fully expect the run D to rebound.

I am with you on this. No way do we keep making the same mistakes every week. Just hope it is not at the behest of the passing D.

Is it just me, or did Sherman sound reaaaahhheeehhheeally (in Ace Ventura voice) confident in his presser?

C'mon Richard, let's keep things in perspective.
