Contained a team dropping 30-40 points on everybody, 10am game, weather, had our opportunities. This game doesn’t bother me.

With a full squad, no reason 9ers shouldn’t win out.

Problem is the 49er finesse running game obviously needs perfect conditions.

No imo. Running game was excellent. Your backup RB ran for 140.

He was a QB for the Washington State Cougars about 15 years ago.

I’m still not convinced Lamar’s style is sustainable. The Niners took away their running backs and dared Lamar to beat them with his arm or try to run past 2 or 3 defenders and he struggled.

It was pouring down rain though, too. You can't tell me that didn't affect the passing game. Jimmy G only had 165 yards passing in the game, and Jackson also had over 100 yards rushing.

Pretty sure both teams had the same advantages and disadvantages. Bottomline in Baltimore is not invincible. Maybe now some of the talking heads can get off his Jackson's jock.

Obviously, I wouldn't complain about that, and as I said earlier, I don't think anyone thought Baltimore was invincible. They gave up 40 to Cleveland at home. My only point in response to knownone was that Jackson IS a legit threat to throw, but elements largely took that away from both teams. It wasn't just because the 49ers have a superior pass defense. Again, not knocking their pass defense, they played well, I'm just saying the elements helped.

Not me. Lamar runs for the home run every time and runs more frequently, and doesn't protect himself while running. He's heading straight for RGKnee territory in the next year or two. I also don't see Lamar pirouetting out of sacks from elite DEs then throwing bombs all the time.

LJ is a short pass/crossing pattern QB, he rarely makes long throws, he either finds the short pass route or takes off. 49ers boxed him in today and made him throw from the pocket with pressure coming. Yes the weather had and effect but so did the halftime adjustments by the 49ers.

49ers just gave BB all he needs to for the playoffs.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Bills hand them a loss next week.

Let me know when they start counting moral victories as actual wins.
Excuses are like cornholes, everyone has one and they all stink.

The only good thing Lamar Jackson has done is bring Hawk and Niner fans together to root against him...….Niner fans for Raven hatred and the concept of Roman 2.0 actually working, and Hawk fans who don't want people thinking he's better than Wilson. As it stands right now, he might be the most effective QB in the league at putting up points, but so little of it is based on intimidating people with his arm; the Charger playoff game to me is still the real Lamar.

Even I, Wilson's biggest critic, knows he's better than Lamar Jackson. He can't run the Ravens offense quite like Lamar, but clearly a better passer.

A few years ago we'd hear that under Carroll/Wilson, the Seahawks had a lead at some point in every game from 2012-mid 2016. No loss was more than one score too, IIRC. Why would I, a non Hawk fan know that? Because I've been around this board long enough to hear it! Plenty on .NET did it in those days.....losing to Harbaugh at Candlestick but Harbaugh could never ever score even 20 points of offense on Pete? Remember those too?

Niners are 10-2 with 6 points combined in two losses, while the other two loss teams this year are 20+.

Niners have been the definition of NFL's toughest out this season, no question about it. Outcomes of both losses in doubt until the final play in regulation/OT.

Cool story bro, now you can tell me the story of all of the old trophies your team won before you were born.

The game showed that 9ers had pretty much figured out LJ. I'd argue similarly that teams had done that w/Kaep as far back as 2013.

But, like then, the Ravens have a money kicker--much as Phil Dawson used to be.

Everyone's giving Gould a pass on the missed 51-yd field goal, but chances are Dawson wouldn't have missed that in his day, chances are Justin Tucker wouldn't either.

Kickers are so underrated but they absolutely ice games between close teams. We have an OK one. The Niners have ATM two OK ones (though for cap hit purposes I'd go with the kid). No one has a Justin Tucker however, and that's who'll ice it in close playoff games.
