Even though John will likely add a couple of players to round out this roster, I am not worried about WR, QB, RB, FB or TE.
RG and depth at CB are my only high priority upgrade needs. Hopefully with 4/5 competing for the RG spot, Benton can elevate a couple guys to eclipse last years performance.
Rather than bringing in another vet WR, I'd rather give the guys we have now the snaps, including Arroyo & Horton, right out the gate.
Much of that has to do with How the roster will be carried and a lean on the run-game.

He has flashes of greatness....then disappears for long stretches...from what I recall of the Gabe Davis Buffalo stint.

Yeah, I'm thinking our WR room is pretty well set. If John does add a WR, I doubt it would be a vet. Maybe another young kid to develop. This doesn't sound like that.

Isn't Davis 26 years old?

Does he count as a "young kid" still? lol

Just a clickbait article. We have JSN and Kupp. MVS for this year. Horton is going to be a stud and White has a lot of value too. Once Horton hears a who, watch out

Lots of TDs, horrible catch rate. He can be a beast as a deep threat and blocker. He went off against KC in that wacko divisional game in ... 2022(?)

He hasnt seemed to grow much as a player since being drafted. Lots of drops. Bills fans claim he is prone to miscommunication with the QB.

As a split end WR4, he can help someone if he is motivated.

Well that's a big red flag right there and a non-starter.

Bad enough that a player has drops but if you show an inability to understand what your QB is asking of you, then that's a NO for me, man.

Gabe Davis seems to show up in the playoffs, IIRC he had multiple playoff games of multiple TDs in a recent year. He's a good #3 or #4 receiver, and Josh Allen went his direction when the primary options were taken away. So, yes, flashes of greatness, with long disappearances sounds about right.

Here is the bit from bleacher report, which is all the TSN guy is citing. It's not a prediction or rumor, just a random off-season opinion piece about moves each team in the league should make according to the guy making the list.

Anytime we post a link, there's a decent chance that link is based on another article, so consider checking into the original source.

Seattle Seahawks: Sign WR Gabe Davis

The Seahawks have enough room to add another big-play wideout to the offense. Wideout Cooper Kupp is an injury-prone possession receiver who has missed 18 games over the last three years and averaged 10.6 yards per catch last season. Marquez Valdes-Scantling averages a career 17.4 yards per reception, but he has an alarming 49.5 percent catch rate.
Davis has been inconsistent and couldn't find his groove in the Jacksonville Jaguars' aerial attack last season. Yet he would be a solid No. 3 option in the Seahawks' passing attack and primary big-play target if Valdes-Scantling isn't able to carry over his momentum from the previous season in Klint Kubiak's system.
Because of Kupp's injury history, Seattle needs quality depth at receiver behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Davis has missed more than two games in a single term once in five years and averages 16.2 yards per catch.
