Russ costs almost 40 million against the cap if cut or traded. Pete just signed an extension. So a parting is not likely.

Pete stepping down voluntarily is likely the only option.

Unless something happens to Petes health he is not stepping down.. I do think its a hamper to the Seahawks to have a qb making that amount of money... but the thing is even if you traded him for say 3 high first round picks and I might consider that, Im sure the fan base would regret that...

I would love to see Wilson traded for Watson.

And I think Wilson would win another SB somewhere else.

Wilson won't win another under Pete though.

To be honest, I doubt we win another playoff game under Pete.

Not even sure Pete could do that with prime Steve Young or Joe Montana. Without his defense Pete brings nothing to the table. And he cannot use a QB to his capabilities as his predilections prevent it.
