VaTech was hosed multiple times last night by the Miami protecting ACC refs. But the cherry on top was taking away a TD on the last play off the game. Because they ruled the Miami player took the ball, after the VT WR hit the ground with possession. After than ref job, I never want to hear about the fail Mary again.

Never should've been called a TD in the first place. The ball was moving throughout the "catch" process.
As far as the ACC refs "protecting" Miami, they definitely don't have a problem screwing Miami over. They did it last year against Georgia Tech.

Yeah that wasn't a completed pass at all. At first I messaged my cousin saying we have the Golden Tate catch all over again, but it was clear that ball was moving.
The ACC refs again protect Miami. Week after week they are doing everything they can to help make the weak ACC two bid conference

Keep seeing references to "Fail Mary" every season, like that wasn't a TD.
It absolutely was under the rules that people seem to not understand, the
ref made the correct call 100%.
Today that same call would be upheld by NY or whatever.
