If I remember correctly, the wolf greys are considered our alternates, and alternates are only allowed to be worn twice in a season. We wore them against the Cards and against the Texans. So if all the above is accurate, we're done with the greys for the season.

That's crazy. I really dig the grays. I wish I had gotten a gray jersey but I dropped too much coin on my blue one. Needless to say they are my main road jersey on Madden. :mrgreen:

Like everything else with the league, I'm sure it all boils down to money, perhaps due to some marketing agreements they've made with the sellers of NFL merchandise.

I'm hoping the Seahawks filed a change of uniform color with the NFL and the wolf greys are our new normal light color. Screw white!

From what I understand, the team floated the idea of having the greys be the designated away jersey, but the league shot the idea down.

Also, we'll never see the grey jerseys in a Superb Owl, because alternate jerseys aren't allowed. Another NFL rule quirk.

what's the punishment if you just wear them anyways? Paul Allen has to hold his breath for 15 seconds while counting out the money, and just writes it off on his taxes for charity since that's where NFL fine money supposedly goes?

White is the standard away color for every team in the league. That's just basic NFL stuff there. And I don't see anything in the makeup of the NFL's owners and league office that suggest to me that they value individuality and creativity. No way could we go with the greys as our standard away jerseys. The league would never allow it.

I figure we will be in white tops and grey pants. I really like the white top blue pants but with all the Rams blue.
