Tough to assess the team running at 65 percent of full strength . Seahawks were injured early but are very much close to full strength . There are going to be a few changes this offseason but a full rebuild is not likely . A Super Bowl run any time soon is unlikely but I think they will continue to compete for the division

Yes, too many SB losses takes a toll on a team physically and mentally.

And now they're getting blown out on national TV.

Starting to look like us in the 2017-19 era. Aging vets that can't stay healthy or moved away in FA, young guys that can't totally buy into what the coaches are selling, turnover on the coaching staff because other teams are poaching them.

It's tough to stay at the top, unless you play in a divsion that's a total shit show like the Patsies faced for 15 years or so.

This whole season they have looked tired, worn out and injured

Feels like the 2015 seahawks. Good players still but many have a ton of wear and tear, lack of hunger or have been paid/can't be paid. You don't realize the window is closed at the time but they basically have to smash this next draft. Also lost a lot of good assistants.

I do wonder if they bring Robert Salah back as DC.

Back then as well we had McVey then come in and the Rams window then Shanahan who nullified Petes defense. I wonder now if its McDonald who is building something and nullifying them, possibly Arizona.

I've been waiting for this day, when the 49ers were in the basement, but I wouldn't write the 49ers off just yet, even for this season. They may be 5-6, but they have a fairly easy remaining schedule, with the only one team--the Lions--with a winning record. They get to play the Bears and Dolphins.

The Cardinals probably have the easiest schedule, playing the Patriots and the Panthers, and the Seahawks as the only team they have to play with a winning record.

The Seahawks, on the other hand, have the toughest remaining schedule, with the Packers and Vikings still left to go.
