Seattle's 5-foot-11 Russell Wilson became the shortest starting quarterback to win a Super Bowl.

I didn't see this mentioned at all after the game. Maybe I just missed it.

But I thought it was pretty cool. He has that as a badge of honor now. Everyone told him he was too short because no one that short had ever done it. Now he's the shortest to ever do it.

I know it was probably obvious to most of you that he is the shortest, but I wasn't sure about it until I saw this.

Johnny Football should pay half of his rookie salary to Russ. Russ has shown NFL executives everywhere that the short QB playground style is one that not only can be successful in the regular season, but one that can win you a championship as well. What people don't all realize is the brains that it takes for this (mainly in terms of making good reads and taking care of the ball), and that's definitely up for debate for guys like Mr Football

I see some of the Saints fans are still in denial. They still think that they somehow fought Seattle "toe to toe" in that Divisional playoff game, and that they "shredded" our D once they figured things out.

The truth is that Seattle was up 16-0 at the end of the third qtr and that game was OVER. Go back and look at "percentage to win" the entire game and you'll see the truth....Seattle jumped all over the Saints and never let up.

The only reason it looked closer than it was at the very end was because Brees started taking crazy long odds, and he kept on getting very lucky at the very end.

Sorry, but I hate revisionist history.
