Guessing he has realized his career is finally over. Don't know how I feel about it, he's always been pretty corny and robotic on TV but I have noticed he's trying to be more normal in interviews lately.

I guess that's a career for Mr. Unlimited.

I'll bet we see Russ in the Hall Of Fame some day. I mean, his money is as good as anyone else's.

Felt he was never the same player after that finger injury against the Rams. People will rightfully talk about the LOB era but Wilson was pretty dominant from 2015-2020 and one of the best QB's in the league. That cowboys play off game where they kept running into brick walls and not letting him throw till late always annoys me. He'll always regret not having 2 rings. Post Seahawks sunk any HOF hopes and soured most people on him both in Seattle and league wide. I'm a little sad the 2013 team is mostly all retired now barring Wagner but our current team being champions softens that.

Isn't he too short to be able to succeed as an analyst/commentator on TV?
Mr. Cliche.

Al Micheals - Hey Russ what are they doing to Geno with that defense?

Russell Wilson - Hang on one sec, have a call, - Hey Sean, Russell Wilson here, what kind of coverage does San Diego run again?

I don't pay much attention to the broadcast crew as they all seem to blend into one generic voice, particularly the color commentator.

I'm also pretty neutral when it comes to Russell Wilson, so seeing his mug on the TV won't bother me like it will some of my friends.

I go back a little further than that late in the "Let Russ Cook" year of 2000. After starting off like an MVP candidate when teams dropped out and started taking away the long pass the offense really stagnated. I specifically remember a Giants loss where I was so frustrated with him.

Congrats to Wilson for earning $20M last year. If the NFL money is now less than the tv money then take the tv money.

Well if he'd going to CBS NFL Today - then it's the third reason I will never watch that show:

The first two being:

Bill Cowher and Nate Burleson

And now ME3. I don't even watch the halftime segments with that show I cannot stand it. I used to love Burleson when he was with us but I literally cannot stand him now.

AAAAAAAAAAAnd the universe does not care 1 molecule about what I think about it :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

For Captain Cornball, this sure seems to me like a superior option than backing up Geno for Jets. Having said that, if he takes the job, I think he'll either flourish or flame out. He loves to talk, that's undisputed, which could really make him shine in that environment. But if he tries making it all about him too much, which is equally undisputed, he'll get shown the door.

CBS and those ugly jackets they wear. Just everything about their production seems a few steps below Fox and espn
